Broxtowe Conservatives are deeply sad to announce the death of Councillor Joan Briggs yesterday.
Joan was a former Captain of the England Women's Football team and a much-loved member of our community. A tireless campaigner, rarely missing a meeting and a friend to many. We will miss her.
